Hows your team been since?
Sorry...just a little grumpy this morning, yeah, Krug was clearly the weak link out there.
Now with thorton out, , what about putting Jagr on his spot on the top line, reunite seguin to his old line, and then I'm ok with the sweed before the caron or pandolfo. |

Chicago is everything the B's can't deal with in this finals. Unless the Bruin's start intentionally taking out the Hawks 3rd and 4th lines, I do not see them winning the Cup. Chicago was better than great all season. They have the depth. "Boston Strong" just met Chicago's Swiss Army Knife. I was picking the Bruin's to do this, but if things keep going to OT and with the attrition that naturally happens during the playoffs. You are not going to win this series. Hawks have depth, and the Q-stache. Boston had it easy up until now, and Chicago was the best team during the regular season for a reason.
You're not playing Toronto. You're not playing the Pens. Chicago is the real deal. Everybody said they were 'too small'. They killed the LA Cup giant. I don't think the Bruins have the depth to beat them now either. You were up 3-1, and you came back against Toronto.
Crawford didn't say no. He said F*CK NO. And the top line was a non-factor tonight. If they figure their shiat out too? You're not going to win a game in this series either. |

I love how everyone said Raask and the Boston D was unbeatable and the Hawks got 4 goals on them. Even if the Hawks lost this game, I like this most.

You are speaking as if the Hawks just blew the Bruins out of the water. It was a 4-3 game that went to the third OT, it just as easily could have been won by the Bruins. |

I agree.
But I also think over the course of a series, the Hawks look like they can put a lot of pressure on the Bruins with any of their four lines. The Bruins not as much. And now it looks like Horton's out, too. The Bruins have a lot left, but the odds do appear in the Hawks favor as long as they keep their foot on the gas—because of their depth. |

Ty, good blog, but Daugavins finishes that chance if Oduya doesn't make a great play. Give credit where it's due. |

sucked to lose in triple OT, but I was far from disappointed. Rask didn't have a chance on chicago's last two goals, he's still super solid. I thought B's had better of chances and control of play in OT's, mind you marginally, just like the entire game. Losing Horton will definitely suck, but putting Seguin on top line can only help his numbers. 3rd line might as well keep the skate guards on for all they've done. I feel better following this OT loss than I did following the game one loss in 2011 finals. Go B's! |

JJ, Daugavins luckilly gives Oduya the chance to make a great play by making the move instead of shooting first. T me it looked like, he had short side wide open.

Daugavins finishes that chance if he doesn't dive to try to get a call. This is one thing the league has to stop, most players would rather try to draw a penalty then actually work to finish a play. Watch Hossa, he plays the game like it should be played. Even if he is getting mugged, he still is skating through the play. |

Was a hell of a game one. This series looks like it's going to go 7 for sure.
I don't know how many times in OT my girlfriend and I exclaimed "How did they not put that in?!" in reference to a Boston player just missing a glorious chance. |

Yup, B's had there chances, Cant fault Rask on those goals either, especially the last one, two deflections, uggggggg. Great F.N. game, just the end kinda sucked. |

That's it? Boston's done with Krug? It was a poor decision on his part but to bench him for one mistake? I think he still looks pretty solid and hes a real threat from the blueline in O zone. He gets hard shots on net. |

Not really cheering for either team, but big difference I saw between Blackhawks and Pens is that the Hawks use their D men to cycle the puck, maintain offensive pressure and most importantly, get shots through. The game tying goal and OT winner were the results of shots from the point.
I have no idea why, but when watching the Pens vs. Bruins, the Pens rarely took a shot from the point. They insisted on rush plays via Malkin, or pushing the puck down low to Crosby. Even when Letang got the puck at the point, he would try to skate down to the top of the circle and/or slot, and ended up giving the puck away over and over again.
Boston just simply needs a slight adjustment to cover the points a bit better and they are laughing IMO. |

Oh boy. Anyone claiming dominance for either side after that game deserves a 1 way ticket to crazy town. Neither side played their best game but both sides had their periods of control. Thought the B's were the better team for 1st half of regulation, Hawks for the 2nd and B's had the edge through OT. Bounces happened to go Hawks way but hey, that's how the game goes.
Personally if I had to choose between not being able to handle Shaw & Bolland, or not being able to handle Krejci and Lucic, I know who I'd choose. But maybe that's just me. |

Great game, hope there are 6 more just like it.
Was there any news about Chara being injured? It looked like he wasn't on the ice for about 5 minutes straight during OT. |
